The Last Maestro

This year Delta Kappa Alpha is embarking on its first feature motion picture, a documentary under the title of  The Last Maestro. It’s subject is the last living propagator of Italian Cinema Neorealism, Maestro Carlo Lizzani. His sixty-three motion pictures have been given worldwide acclaim, including an Academy Award nomination. Now at the age of 89, he is embarking on his 64th motion picture and has exclusively invited DKA to observe and learn from him on this project. We hope to not only tell the story of Maestro Lizzani, but preserve the cinema neorealism which has recently been lost in modern filmmaking styles. We hope to inspire future generations based on our experiences, learning from an artistic master. The film is currently in pre-production and should be released in 2012. We are currently looking for donations and support of all kinds. Check back here soon for the official website, Facebook, Twitter, and donation links!
